Beautiful house, wonderful location, nice neighborhood, friendly and responsive host; happy to come again!

We came as siblings to surprise our mother who hasn’t seen her 6 children in one house hold for 24 years and surprise her by staying in this home and everyone felt welcome and at home. The kitchen was beautiful the bed rooms were awesome and when mom came and saw the sauna shower she loved it. Everything was perfect and the host was excellent thank you again

We had a wonderful stay, even during a major snowstorm. The home was warm, comfortable and spacious, which made all the difference with the weather. The modern, updated kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to settle in and feel at home. Communication was excellent. The hosts stayed in close touch as we adjusted our travel plans due to the weather and were incredibly helpful and reassuring throughout. The house was spotless, clearly well maintained and full of charm, with beautiful architecture and lots of cozy nooks to relax in. Our pup was very happy too and loved the backyard. Having a dedicated covered parking space in the carport was especially convenient during the snow. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, within easy walking distance to a great coffee shop and other local spots. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and we truly felt well cared for as guests. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Jake was an awesome host and the place was great. The home is huge, super spacious, and full of old-world charm. If you’re looking for something ultra-modern, this may not be the spot for you—but if you love character and a classic feel, it’s perfect. Jake was very responsive and always helpful whenever we needed anything. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay during our time in Pittsburgh. The neighborhood felt safe and walkable, with tons of great restaurants nearby. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Great Host!! Great House!! Very nice place to stay, but yes I agree with them in that this is an old house with modern touches. It has things you won't find in a new house and things you won't find in an old house. We were very comfortable from the time we walked in until we left. Jake was Super responsive and got back to us quickly from questions before booking and anything we needed during and after our stay. Walk just a couple blocks to some hip coffee, dining and evening activities; walk a few more and the choices are more numerous. Hope to return again.

this was exactly what we needed while working at U Pitt. let's be real though, it's an old house, but Pitt is an old city. this place has plenty of room, a full kitchen and more than enough bathroom space. all necessary for us. lastly parking was right, but not as bad as I thought it would be going in. Jake was great to communicate with and I works y definitely rent from him again.

Jake's place was terrific for our family and pets on a long graduation weekend in Pittsburgh. Jake was very proactive in communicating with us on what to expect when we arrived. Check in was seemless. Place was spacious, clean and comfy. It had everything we needed for the stay. Beds were comfortable and good size for a large group. The location in Shadyside was great for us to get to the weekend's events and for us to head out to the Southside Slopes and other parts of the city to celebrate. The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors we encountered were friendly. We were even happy to see someone clearing the snow from the walks and deck that had piled up from the early winter storm that impacted the city this weekend. Would definitely stay again and recommend to a large party looking for a stay in Pittsburgh.

This house was perfect for our family while we were in town for our daughter’s wedding. Plenty of space, bedrooms were large with comfortable beds, living areas were perfect for hanging out, and the kitchen had what we needed for the times we are in. The neighborhood was quiet and in a very good location for all we had to do. I’d highly recommend staying here if anyone is looking in this area.

Our family loved staying in this big old Pittsburgh house. Read the description - it is accurate. The house is spacious the beds were comfy and we had a wonderful week in Pittsburgh in this place! The location is perfect so walkable and so many places to try. This is our home away from home when we meet up in Pittsburgh. We loved it and we will be back next year.

everything went well. only suggestion i can request is clear instructions during check in using keypad. initially we had a struggle once we figured out we were be bale to use it. It was cold so we want get into to the house quickly. Thanks Radhika

Great house in a great location

We had an amazing time at Jake’s place. We were there for 5 days, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We walked to local restaurants and around the neighborhood, were a short drive to other nice places that we toured- it was all in all a great experience. It’s in an older part of the city, but a nice neighborhood with tree lined streets. I used to live in a similar place in another city, so I expected space to be at a premium, like parking, etc. The garage was a little challenging to get into because of the space, but we did it; there were clear instructions regarding parking permission on the street. We had 5 children and 7 adults and everyone was comfortable. The previous reviews about the bathroom doors were accurate, and the front door lock looked like it had been broken into but repaired somewhat. It did work, though. We really did love our stay. Probably would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs, but it was a beautiful house and we loved it!

awesome place to stay for a large group

The house was really charming and worked great for our family of six to stay for parents weekend at Pitt. It was close to campus as well as shops and restaurants. It is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with lots of families and dogs. We loved taking the dog for walks and discovering the beauty of Pittsburgh.

Lots of space and would stay again

A great house with plenty of space and bedrooms. Beautiful hardwood floors and new kitchen. Nice to be able to sit on front porch and enjoy the weather and neighbors. Absolutely recommend!!

Jake’s Place was perfect for my large extended family to stay while we visited my son at Pitt. There was plenty of space for the 10 of us. The location was great (quiet and safe) with lots of stuff within a walkable distance. The garage was great for 2 of our cars, although it was tight getting them in and out on the narrow alley, so I don’t think you could park a large car/truck in it, but we had no problem finding street parking for our other cars. The beds were super comfy and the master spa shower was awesome! We also really enjoyed the large front porch and spent a lot of time sitting there and talking. We would definitely book Jake’s place again in the future!

Beautiful home and great location

Jake's place was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone and just a beautiful home. Jake was very proactive in his communication making check-in and check-out super easy. This place is great if you have a large group as there are many bedrooms and bathrooms and spaces to hang out. And the primary bathroom shower is amazing!

The house was fantastic. Very charming with modern amenities while keeping much of the original house intact. The location was perfect. It’s a quiet neighborhood with lush surroundings. We went on several walks and all the neighboring homes had lovely flower beds that we enjoyed. We walked to several restaurants that were very close and all had excellent food. Our favorite walks were to check out the great architecture in the area. We especially loved the old churches. I would recommend staying at Jake’s home. It was everything we wanted for our family gathering with our Pittsburgh family. Memories were made.

We stayed at Jake's place for one night—it’s a great house. We arrived very late and took a route through downtown, which included some rough areas, so we were initially skeptical. However, the neighborhood itself is peaceful and beautiful.

This place is great for a family, friends, or work trip to Pittsburgh! It has all the amenities, plenty of rooms and areas to hang out together or have your own space. And in a very walkable location.

A beautiful and spacious home was enjoyed by our whole family. The beds were especially comfortable which is always a bonus. We loved the large dining room table for both eating and playing games. Everyone enjoyed using the gigantic master shower. Street parking was convenient and almost always available. If I were to suggest anything that could be improved it would be a better living room couch that doesn’t sit so low and without much support. The neighborhood is lovely and we had easy drives to the various places we visited during our stay. We’d definitely recommend Jake’s place.

Wonderful Stay! We absolutely loved this Airbnb! It was very clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the location was perfect—close to stores and museums. Our group of 11 had plenty of comfortable beds, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We did have some trouble fitting our large SUV into the garage, but after requesting a variance, we were able to park on the street without any issues. We’ll definitely be staying here again when we come back!

There is so much to like about this AirBNB in terms of location, size, and amenities. I can't in good faith leave a 5 star review though. There were just too many little quirks, issues, and oversights that could (and frankly, should) have addressed inside an AirBNB at this price-point. There were little things - dead/missing light bulbs throughout the house, no locks on nearly all the interior doors, loose electric socket and/or exposed wires, broken chairs. And also a few big things - trash left behind from previous guests, dust and dirt on the floors, and a noticeable musty smell on the entire third floor that persisted for two days following a heavy rain. While on the topic of the third floor, I'd point out that the bathroom up there (which serves two bedrooms) was rough around the edges and not nearly as nice as the bathrooms on the second floor. Host was quick to respond and the location is hard to beat. It needs some attention though to meet the criteria for a luxury AirBNB .

Overall a great experience for our big family.

Location is great and parking was relatively easy with permit process provided by Jake (very simple email with car details, etc). Garage is available but is a really tight fit for any regular sized car so I would recommend just parking on the street. It was unusually hot in Pittsburgh while we were there and the air conditioning kept up with our needs just fine so that was awesome. We had a bit of trouble getting in - we arrived in town early and had asked to check in early which I understand is not a given. We communicated with Jake that we had arrived and were waiting to hear from him as soon as it was done. Unfortunately it wasn’t even ready at 4 pm (check in time) - they were still cleaning. Because we had little kids and a dog and it was very hot we basically had to come in anyway and the cleaners just didn’t get to finish. House is very cool - furniture could use some updating and the additions of lamps - it’s dark in the living area as the overhead light/fan wasn’t working.

Amazing kitchen and the shower in the master was fantastic. This place was beautifully restored and perfect for our needs.

Jake was a great host! His place worked out great for a buddy trip to the US Open. The house was very clean, spacious, and super walkable to many great restaurants and bars. Jake had clear check in and check out directions and was very responsive during our stay! Thanks again, Jake!

Perfect house for sitting on the front porch and reconnecting with old college friends!

Best thing about the house is Jake and his team. Very responsive and proactive. Otherwise house itself needs lots of work. Bathroom on 3rd floor leaks in 2nd floor. 2nd floor bathroom has a broken latch so does not lock. Master Bathroom does not have a door only so imagine the panic while taking a shower if anyone walks in. Dore handles are coming apart. Dustbin pedal is broken. Overall level 1 is dimly light and can do with extra lighting.

Great place to host a family gathering. We had a large wedding party and each couple had a nice, private bedroom. Family room and dining table were large, and worked well. Front porch was relaxing & comfortable. Communication and instructions were timely & easy to follow.

Jake is a FANTASTIC host - attentive helpful professional and always available. Really appreciated having him as our Pittsburgh connection. House is great! We were a party of 3 couples in our 60's. Terrific gathering spaces (sofa with tv, dining table for games, kitchen table for coffee, front porch for visiting). We ate out so can't really speak to the kitchen supplies. The beds were very comfortable, nice linens; plenty of bathrooms, fluffy towels. Location is great - quiet neighborhood but easy walk to lots of restaurants and coffee shops and walgreen's target etc. Uber was fast to get there to take us downtown. Really loved staying here - would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing group stay. For anyone who is looking for truly great meal, strongly encourage you to check out Lillith (about 2 blocks from the house) - fantastic food, great service. Also, recommending 2 breakfast spots (both terrific and walkable from house): Georgie's Corner Cafe and the Square Cafe.

We loved this neighborhood. Overall the house was great. The beds are super comfortable. There's plenty of room for many people. The have good linens, pillows and towels. I wished I would have brought my smaller car because it was hard to park my Honda Passport in the garage. It barely fit and I mean barely. I had to fold in the mirrors and it took someone to help guide me in but there's a parking pass you can get for the street so that's also an option. Just wanted to give a heads up on that. Jake is a great host and his response times are truly unmatched. We really didn't cook much in the kitchen because we ate out most of the days but it seemed fully stocked. A great place for a large group to stay.

We had a great stay at Jake's place. We were a big group and there was plenty of room for all of us. The bedrooms were very spacious and main areas were great for our group. Jake was very friendly, super responsive and we were able to check-in early which was a huge plus. Just to note, there wasn't a lock on the back sliding door, just a rod to prevent it from opening.

We were in Pittsburgh for a wedding reception and family reunion. There was lots of room for the kids to play, the beds were very comfortable, there was a garage for parking our cars (2) which was very helpful. The front porch was a wonderful place to sit and talk. The house is old and there are lots of funky diy improvements but for a group of 4 families, it was lots of fun and fit our needs.

Solid place in a great location

This house was perfect for our needs! We unfortunately had a mishap with our landlord not paying the water bill and our water got shut off. Jake’s place was the perfect reprieve while we got that taken care of. Everything was as listed, comfortable and so homey. The home itself is gorgeous and would be an awesome place to gather for groups. It’s very walkable to one of the best areas in Pittsburgh as far as shops, restaurants and things to do go. Jake is the most responsive & kind host. We hope to come back in the future and with all of our friends! 🙂

Had a great stay at Jake’s place. Good location with closest restaurants/bars <10 minutes away. Beds were comfortable and the primary shower was just as good as it looks in the pictures! Would stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Jake was very helpful, and we had a great time at the house. We had some issues with doors that wouldn't close or latch, parking garage is for compact cars only, don't try to park a minivan.

This was a perfect house for our two families to reunite. Our kids loved exploring the spacious house. It was a great location for restaurants, shopping and an ice cream shop. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed having use of the garage and also had no problem finding street parking out front. Jake was very kind and answered any questions in a timely manor. We will definitely keep this house in mind for future trips and/or use Jake as a host for another property!

Great location, very cool historic home and very roomy. However, there were some issues with the condition of some of the spaces in the home. There was some exposed wall spaces and the sliding glass door to the backyard only had a burglar bar, but the lock itself was broken. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay.

We loved this house! My sisters and I were in Pittsburgh for a funeral and this was the perfect house for us and our families. Plenty of space and a good layout of beds to suit our needs. Great location. Safe and within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. Street parking was easy. We had such a nice time that we tried to extend our stay. unfortunately for us, it was already booked for the next night! Jake was very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic place with plenty of space.

Perfect location for our trip! Jake was an excellent and communicative host and his house worked really well for my family. Dog-friendly neighborhood and fenced in backyard made it easy to travel with our pets. We had everything we needed and everyone slept well in the comfy beds!

Ward Street was a great spot to host multiple family members for a December college graduation, and we could bring our dog. The house has so much character and the neighborhood is quiet, lovely, and walkable to many shops and restaurants. The quality and comfort of the beds, pillows, and linens was excellent-some of the best I've experienced in a rental. The garage was adequate for a sedan and a medium SUV, and off street parking was decent. The host Jake provided detailed instructions for street parking permit variances. Jake is a very responsive host and we were able to ask questions and receive timely answers through the app's messaging feature. The house's kitchen is relatively well equipped, with the exception of a lack of serving or mixing bowls for our breakfast prep needs. Having laundry machines in the primary bedroom was a real bonus. All house entries and bedrooms require using stairs.

The home at 5921 Alder Street was large, comfortable and met all of our needs. The location was convenient, the neighborhood was quiet and walkable. Parking was free and available for our multiple cars. We wished it was warmer during our stay to take advantage of the lovely front porch. Jake was a kind, thoughtful and responsive host.

Fantastic experience staying at this house. Jake was incredibly responsive ahead of time and during our stay with any questions. The home is beautiful with lots of old world character, but it has been updated and is well-maintained. The house was very clean. We booked the home for 7 people - us, my parents, their dog, and our 3 sons (ages 2, 5, & 7). The space was very comfortable for a group of our size and worked well for all ages. The location was central to so many great restaurants and activities and we had a wonderful time exploring Pittsburgh. Jake’s place was great. Super convenient and near the hub of Pittsburgh. Stayed here for the weekend to go to the Steelers game and it was a great spot. Highly recommend to anyone coming with a big group!

Beautiful home for sure. Plenty of space and all though we were only there for the night , it was perfect, affordable, and convenient. Probably one of the top 5 beds I’ve ever slept on. We really enjoyed our stay at Jake's place. There were seven of us and there was more than enough room for all of us to hang out and sleep comfortably. The backyard was small but big enough to play corn hole back there. The location was fantastic with lots of bars and restaurants within close walking distance. Also, the steam shower in the place was pretty awesome. Only negative I would call out is that the place could use a few touch ups here and there...cabinets not closing, missing / loose tiles in bathroom walls, etc.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) The house itself had a lot of charm but unfortunately, our stay was far from ideal. The property has a historic look, which might appeal to some, but it also came with issues like a mouse we found in the house. We reached out to the owner, and while they were responsive, they did not address the issue until after our departure, which was really disappointing. Another thing to note is the parking situation—very challenging street parking, especially if you have a larger vehicle. While the location was decent, those were a couple of things that soured our stay.

There were a lot of great things about Jake's house. The kitchen was amazing. The master and 2nd floor baths had these awesome rain shower heads, and I legit wanted to steal the pillows from the beds. It's rare not to have a list of chores to do before checkout and I while did have to reach out to Jake during my stay, he was responsive and resolved my concern promptly. There was several good things as well. The house was cozy and comfortable. There were lots of good restaurants within walking distance and the neighborhood was generally quiet and peaceful. The water heater kept up with 4 our us showing first thing in the morning. There were some bad things too. Several of the doors in the house simply wouldn't stay closed, including the door to the garage. And the doors that did close either did so barely, or needed quite a bit of force. The remote for the garage doors only worked for one of the two doors and getting in and out of the garage was very tricky.

The home was built in 1900, and has beautiful old charm. it is quite large and great for large families, or multiple families. The beds were very comfortable.

Jake was so responsive it was like he was on call for us. Loved the house, the neighborhood, the location and most of all, the front porch. We spent 90% of our "at home" time on the porch.

In many years of using AirBnB I'm not sure I've ever had a more responsive host! Communications gets "6 stars"! My husband and I traveled with our 3 daughters & their husbands and 4 young kids. Everyone fit comfortably in this really nice house. Porch was terrific ... lots of seating and nice neighborhood. We could walk to stores and restaurants easily. Walking around in the neighborhood was a pleasant pastime. Beds were comfortable. We appreciated shampoo, TP, paper towels, etc ... all enough for a one week stay for 12 people. Little things popped up and they were fixed right away (it's on OLD house ... this will happen). It was a charming house and we would recommend it highly!

I was in Pittsburgh to reunite with several family members. This property was perfect for our group, 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 5 toddlers. House was so spacious and comfortable. Location was great as it was a short driving distance to attractions such as waterpark, zoo, etc. There were also lots of restaurants walking distance. One night we walked to Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream with the kids. I would definitely recommend.

Jakes place was exactly what we needed for old high school friends to get together. The place was clean, had everything we needed and bedrooms were so roomy. The location was walkable to many places. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a quintessential old Pittsburgh home, it is quaint, unique, and just a little rough around the edges as you would expect in an older home. The location was a beautiful little residential street just a short walk away from Shadyside restaurants and stores. Unless it was something I was doing wrong, the a/c on the bottom floor was not working very well. The garage was just in the back, but I have no idea how anyone can maneuver their car in there, again this may just be me, but I had to park on the street which was no problem. There were plenty of spots and I emailed for a permit literally the same day I got there and received it almost immediately. By the way, the front door of this house is absolutely magnificent! The showers were great. Allowed all four of us to have our own space. Jake was sweet and communicative.

I prefer leather furniture in an rental. It seems cleaner. The porch and back yard could have been cleaner. It was nice having a garage but it was tight Jake responded very quickly

Good location and comfortable house. My family complimented the quality of the mattresses. The porch provided an unexpectedly pleasant way to experience Pittsburgh. Jake and his team responded quickly to any questions and issues.

This was the perfect house for our family of 12 people - 6 adults & 6 kids - as we celebrated an anniversary. The house was spacious and in a great neighborhood about 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, so it was easy to reach some of the city’s popular tourist attractions..There was also ample on street parking with restaurants and grocery stores close by.

This house has potential - good location, nice layout & bedrooms - but needs maintenance. Broken tiles, doors off hinges, some grime. We enjoyed our time but would not rent again at this price.

The house was great - fantastic location, right next to several fun options for restaurants (Noodlehead, Urban Tap, Millie's ice cream) as well as grocery shopping. Beds were really comfortable and street parking was easy. Jake was a wonderful host - very helpful, accomodating, and communicative.

Second time booking one of Jake’s properties, and I am so happy that I did! Probably one of the nicest bathrooms I have ever been in. Full of character and high end furnishings. Unbeatable location. Will be back soon!

It was very good place.

Great airbnb! Lots of rooms, comfy beds, great little yard out back and easy street parking. Perfect for our family reunion. To note: there’s no door between the master bedroom and master bath, just the laundry machines. Not a dealbreaker, but it was a surprise for us.

Pros: The host was super responsive, and this is a beautiful old home with lots of character and lots of space. The bedrooms and beds were all as described and very comfortable. And the location offers a lot. Cons: A lot of deferred maintenance/repair or just neglect/unawareness about many little things that added up. For example (partial list), the dishwasher has a loose gasket that came loose one day and led to a leak; the appliances in the kitchenette on the 3rd floor don't work (including a Kuerig coffee maker) - may be an electrical issue; lots of broken fixtures (toilet paper holders and towel racks) in the multiple bathrooms; garage door opener didn't work and couldn't get it to open with the keypad either; no sugar in the kitchen, relatively little coffee powder (that we finished), no dish sponge so we had to run the dishwasher twice a day sometimes due to insufficient kitchenware for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. Lots of potential but just needs some attention.

It was as described. It was comfortable and there was a lot if room for a large group. Jake was quick to always quick to respond to any communication.

We had an incredible stay at this stunning home. Jake was always responsive and helpful. We had a mixup with the parking and Jake was very helpful in getting a parking ticket resolved for us. This home comfortably fit 11 people, and could fit even more. We enjoyed the amazing shower in particular and the large dining table. The neighborhood is very close to many activities and restaurants. Thank you to Jake!

Jakes place is beautiful! It’s so big it’s quite literally like a maze!! And the sauna!! The sauna was amazing. There are so many walkable restaurants! Jake is so respectful and responsive! Could not have asked for a better host! Thanks for letting us stay!

This is our second time staying with Jake, and we'd stay again. Beautiful place, very comfortable, with flexible rules (pets allowed!), would highly recommend. The location is perfect -- easy walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. The sauna in this house has to be seen to be believed, a highlight of the place.

We absolutely love staying in Jake's house. It's perfectly located - just a short walk from restaurants and shops, but the street itself is very quiet. Check-in was a breeze. The house was clean, and extremely spacious. Our kids were asking us to try to buy this house, they like it so much. Parking in the garage with our gigantic rental SUV was tight, but the process Jake outlined to get a parking pass was easy so we just parked on the street. All in all, a great stay and we would absolutely stay there again!

If you are looking for a huge, clean space to spread out, this place is perfect! It’s typically hard for us to find a place that makes our whole extended family happy. This place had no complaints from anyone!!! It was VERY clean. Guests might want to know that the backyard feels somewhat shared as dogs from next door may run into the yard. It wasn’t a problem for us but could be for some dogs. Garage is very tight- only for compact cars. But, there’s plenty of free parking on the street. We loved how much space there was to spread out. The place was cleaner than most hotels. Luxury steam shower was an amazing plus. I slept better than I do at home. Sound machines, black out curtains, excellent bedding, and extra linens in EVERY bedroom. The property manager responds immediately and is so friendly. Any issue you have will be addressed immediately. You won’t regret booking this place!

Staying at one of Jake’s properties is always like coming home! Super comfy clean and accommodating!

Our stay was comfortable, convenient and a lovely example of Pittsburgh style. Once we figured out the master bath shower it was awesome. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen very nice though we did little cooking. Having a garage was a plus but there was a learning curve on how to maneuver in and out, best for compact cars. Our grandson had plenty of room to run around and play hide and seek. If all of us come back to Pittsburgh at the same time in the future we would definitely book again.

Jake’s place was a wonderful place for family and friends to gather (and some furry friends too). There were many areas to spread out but then a large dining table and huge sectional for everyone to come together. We especially liked the front porch. We were lucky to stay there during the one 60 degree day in January! Jake was a very responsive host! I would highly recommend this home!

The place was great, very clean, and would be an incredible space for a large group. Lots of beds/private bedroom areas. We had an issue when we arrived that Jake responded to immediately. He went out of his way to make things right and to make sure we were comfortable. I would stay here again!

This was a nice little area. The house was extremely clean and the beds were probably the comfiest I’ve slept in aside from my bed at home. It was exactly what I expected when showing up, which is always great. Jake was not only responsive when I had questions but also thorough with his answers. We had some questions about the garage that he cleared up, but it also wasn’t stressful because street parking was genuinely decent. Aside from some small dings and bruises that come with both this being an older home and being a rental, it was wonderful! FYI - since this is a pet friendly home, there are some old exposed wiring (I highly doubt they’re live). We didn’t bring our pets but I know those spots would be places they would try to munch. Just just something to be aware of if you’re planning on bringing pets

This rambling old home was a great value for Shadyside in January. We loved the large number of rooms, and the enormous master bath with 4 shower heads and a steam pipe. The location is excellent, with easy walking access to both Shadyside and East Liberty. Jake was very responsive and helpful.

Great location and it’s very walkable! It’s the perfect space to host big dinners and hangs. Pet friendly with fenced in yard. Parking was super easy and the hosts are easy to reach for any questions.

We had never stayed at an Airbnb before and were a little nervous but our fears were put to rest. The house was comfortable and definitely served our needs during a difficult time. Jake was easy to reach when we had an issue, which was probably operator error.

Jake was very responsive when we communicated with him. Parking was easy. Bathrooms and bedrooms were great!

Great accomodation for a large group of folks. Host was responsive, we had a glitch getting in as the batteries in the smart lock were losing their juice and the system was fixed pronto. Love the location, Ellsworth and Walnut streets are very hip with good shops, restaurants and bars. Only one hitch for us...need a bigger coffee maker! Thx Jake for a great stay!

Jake’s property is exactly how it’s advertised - It’s fantastic! Jake was extremely responsive, very friendly and very helpful whenever I had a question! We rented this beautiful property to have a large house that my family and I would be comfortable in. This definitely fits the bill! It was also large enough that we were able to host family members at the property while my kids were in bed (tired from the jetlag). Jake was very understanding and accommodating in every way. I would definitely recommend this property for any family traveling with their children!

Jake’s place was just as described. We had 5 adults and 2 children with plenty of room to spare! I loved the front porch and the inside of the house had a lot of charming features. The location was perfect with everything we needed nearby. I’m from Pittsburgh and come back to visit often. I would stay here again.

We were in Pittsburgh for a family event. It was a perfect location for us. It was a last minute booking due to the previous booking not to our liking, so we were pleasantly surprised to find this house. Check in was a breeze. The house was nice and perfect for our needs. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on in an Airbnb. The kitchen was fantastic and had everything we needed. We would definitely return.

Great spot in Shadyside. Walkable to restaurants. Lots of space. Easy to park on the street. If you have a bunch of people this is a nice house to rent. Master bath was huge and nice too.

The house we stayed in was just what was described. There was plenty of room in the house for everyone to be comfortable, we had taken a team of teenage volleyball players for a tournament and everyone loved the house. The kitchen was fully equipped, there were linens provided and each bathroom had toiletries already there. Very comfortable stay, the beds were very comfortable also. It was a great place to stay while we were in town and will be staying again next time we are in Pittsburgh. Jake was a great host, was very quick in response if we messaged with a question. All in all 5 stars for the house and the host.

This home was amazing! It accommodated our family perfectly, 10 of us. We came with 5 cars and was able to park on street near the property the entire weekend, free of charge. There was plenty of space and a large table where we could all dine together and have our game night. We were able to walk to restaurants and stores, so very convenient. The beds and bedding was very comfortable, everyone slept very well. In addition Jake was very responsive with us for any question we had. We look forward to staying here again!!
